More About Idris Adjerid
Idris Adjerid is a PhD candidate at the Heinz College, Carnegie Mellon University. Upon completing his undergraduate studies in information systems at Virginia Tech, he went on to work for the Government Accountability Office where he was a senior analyst performing privacy and security reviews at various federal agencies. Concurrently, he completed his Masters of Business Administration at Virginia Tech with a focus in information systems.
His primary research stream focuses on the intersection of behavioral decision research, behavioral economics, and privacy decision making. Specifically, he focuses on empirical evaluations of the role of relative judgments and framing on perceptions of privacy risks and the development of interventions to counteract limitations in privacy decision making.
